Happy One Week: Bandito’s!

Last Monday, the much anticipated Bandito’s Oceanfront Restaurant & Mexican Cantina opened! I went to the Grand Opening because I’m doing a couple of special projects with them. Here are some photos of the awesome restaurant and food!

Myrtle Beach is Getting Mermaids!

I got invited to this big, fancy opening of the new Starbucks in Myrtle Beach! It's across from Caribbean Resort on 30th Ave North. As I approached the door, the cute little Starbucks barrista said, "Are you on the list?" I was so freaking jacked (even before my coffee) to be asked that- I'm usually the one trying to con my way in! hahaha

The morning party was lots of fun because I got to see my cool clients and also try some nifty Starbucks items for free. The new place is really chic and modern. Myrtle Beach really needs more of this.

Photoshoot Friday

This week, our photoshoot was at the Breakers Resort and we couldn't have asked for a better day! (after 3 days of rain, we had to get SOMETHING good!) Wanted to share some cool shots we worked on.

DayGlow comes to Myrtle Beach!

An exciting thing happened to me this week. I bought glow in the dark bracelets and necklaces and wore them in public. I saw 2 DJs in one night wearing my glow stuff. Then I got painted shot at me and I volunteered. 

Yep, DayGlow came to Myrtle Beach this week and if you don't know what this is, it's a HUGE raver/dance party where they soak you with paint and you just dance for hours. hahahaha- sounds like fun for some and prob not to others. However, me and my friends, an absolute blast!

We Go to Art Shows

My good friend, Christina turned 25 yesterday and she invited a big gang to go to an art show! Fabulous local art, getting to dress up and wear heels AND sipping pretty punch.. yes, I think that definitely works in my schedule. We had so much fun and dragged the "do-I-really-have-to-wear-a-blazer" boys with us.

If you haven't been to Collector's Cafe, you really should. The atmosphere is so cool and chic without trying too hard. It doesn't feel like you're in Myrtle Beach and it's packed full of really cool, artsy people. Half art gallery, half restaurant- you'll want to stay there all night. The gallery was having their annual Art Gala so it was fun to see a lot of Myrtle Beach people I haven't seen in a while AND meet some new friends.

The coolest piece of art was the ceiling though. It was a huge girl face in the front and her hair made of curly steel stretched all the way to the back. haha.. I dared Aaron to lay on the floor and take it to get the best picture! Thanks BF

A Case of the Mondays

You must be wondering.. it's Friday- I should be shouting TGIF at the top of my lungs like usual. Well friends, I am in real life but Mondays have become my favorite day of the week as of lately!

Being sneaky and finding deals in Myrtle Beach, Erin, Laura and I have been having some pretty fabulous dinners. The Monday before last, we went to the Melting Pot. This is usually a 'special occasion place only' and even then I don't go. One of my favorite things is going out to dinner and this is just so much better because it takes all night and their is an activity involved (much like my love of boardgames at the table). For Restaurant week, we were able to get the whole meal for only $20.12. NO BRAINER. Cheese, entree and dessert- thank you ma'am! Cheers to our romantic date for 3.

This past Monday, being a part of the hospitality industry, we got to go see Pirates Voyage dinner theatre fo' FREE. They've changed up the show a little bit and it's still as exciting and yummy as ever! I know Dixie Stampede was here ever since I was little but the pirates update was just what they needed. What do you think?

We bought flags so we could get the full experience. We just might have been the only 25-year olds waving them around like crazy the whole night.. go us.

My favorite part of the show— biscuits and vegetable soup- BEST. THING. EVER.

Knowing a few 'pirates' there, one of our friends asked Travis and Laura to be in the show. OMG- so perfect because this was their first time seeing it. I jumped at the chance to record!
