Many people come to Myrtle Beach to visit each Summer but not many locals stay for a vacation. Well I decided to stick around and have a little fun and act like a tourist.
Thursday, Mom and I had a fun little day of getting fitted for a fashion show (more on that later), having lunch at Salt Creek Cafe, then shopping at Tanger Outlets THEN treating ourselves to a fine dinner at one of my favorite restaurants, Cagney’s. I used to go there a lot when I was little and they had a dancing room and I’d go and dance on my dad’s feet. Did y’all ever do that? Standing right on top of them. haha
On Friday, Aaron asked me to go to the mall. I don’t think he realized how dangerous that question was. haha- Don’t worry, I went easy on him. Kind of…
Today was also the day to the end of my life. Yes- I’m not being dramatic. Mom and I ordered nutrisystem to give it a shot. I get half and she gets half so technically, the end of my life for 2 weeks. I’m gonna give it a serious go- PLEASE cross your fingers for me. It looks pretty unappealing. I’ll keep you updated.
Later that day, I went to see Step Up Revolution with Laura and it was AMAZING!!! OMG. Seriously the best Step Up movie to date. Adam Shankman is a genius. It had lots of So You Think You Can Dance stars like Mia Michaels, Twitch, and Katherine. You gotta see it.
Laura, Erin and I had a nice little SoHo outing that night with good friend Erin that came in town. Yes- SO many Erin/Aarons in my life hahahah. SO great to have girls night and catch up. Love them so…
Saturday, the cotillion I’m a part of threw a beautiful Mother/Daughter Luncheon. I have some stories for this one later. That night, I continued my tourist vacation by going to a Seafood Buffet! I can’t believe some of the food that those people in there can put away. I did pretty well myself- it was SO good. I’m just getting it out of my system in time for Nutrisystem…. HA

Rounding out my weekend was a nice spaghetti dinner at home with the parents. Even though I never left, this weekend was very nice and we managed to find lots of things to do! Hope you had a nice weekend, too.
